Being a novice writer with poor grammatical skills and no knowledge in the formatting, publishing, marketing, and distribution arenas, it was quite providential that I came across Mark and Angel Editing. The personal nature of our communications, the genuine interest in the book/series, and the willingness to meet a number of very short deadlines permitted an overwhelmed simple writer like me to feel as if I had a genuine collaborator in my project.

For what my manuscript required, this was a perfect match.

Since my manuscript was nearly 200k words, I did not know what to expect as others had given me ‘reading times' of 3-4 months or more and quadruple the price (or more). But sure enough, Angela delivered her edit on time and ferreted out all the small errors that after a time, had become invisible to me.

The beginning of my work is challenging, surreal, and involves multiple first-person narration, yet Angela's suggestions were completely in alignment with the novel.

Her edits were never confusing, and it was a simple affair within Word to shape my final edition through the markup / collaboration process.

Angela was just what I needed, at the very end of the writing process, to wrangle all those rogue commas, present-tense verbs, and wily misspellings that Word missed or took for another word and changed (loose for lose, for example).

I contacted Angel Editing Services with a list of questions and received a prompt and friendly reply from Mark. Mark's corrections/improvements to 2 sample chapters I sent him convinced me to send him the complete manuscript. Angel saved my book! Quite literally (No pun intended.)

She took what was left after a very skim-editing job and worked her magic on it. Her service was fast, fun, flexible and above all friendly. A Job Very Well Done [Basic Format Option]

Finding someone to layout my book, Trying to Remember, was a bit of a challenge since many of the designers I emailed had little to no experience with formatting poetry. Mark at Angel Editing turned out to be exceptional at it.

Within a few days of our first email contact, Mark designed a six-page sample using the poems I sent him-the design looked great. There were only a couple times where minor elements of his layout were not what I had envisioned (merely a stylistic preference), but as soon as I pointed them out he was eager and quick to accommodate. In fact, in all of my workings with Mark (every email, question, or correction) his professionalism and turn-around time was exceptional. I am thrilled with the final product-the layout is equal to any book of poems I could open by Billy Collins, Thomas Lux, or Maya Angelou-and I give Mark and Angel Editing three thumbs up.
